Britains for Gamages, Types of U.S. Forces
Medics, in an excellent original Gamages, box, 8 pieces; Excellent, box good but splits in base. "The following lots (1306-1307, 1489-1517) were acquired via a well known English auction house, where they were described as Britains "Specials", in many cases supplied through Gamages. There is no compelling evidence that Gamages ever produced such special orders. There is no doubt that they are one off special commissions, but the identity of the maker/ painter remains unconfirmed."
