The Franklin Mint American Fighting Men Series Made in 1983 and limited to 7500 sets, this series was produced by the Franklin Mint on behalf of the American Military Historical Society and the American Military Soldier Society. The consignor was instrumental in the creation of the series that featured 50 soldiers depicting America's fighting men, 1780 - 1965. The figures are 54mm, hand painted lead, and come with a wood and glass display case. Included with the lot is correspondence between the Franklin Mint and the consignor during the development of this series. Also included are reference cards that give historical background on each figure. 51 pieces includes case. Condition good. Dusty from storage. Some paint loss and small pieces bent.
