Britains Set #1520 Short Monoplane Flying Boat ULTRA RARE Boxed Short Flying Boat, complete with propellers & 2 machine guns. 1 piece, only offered 1937-1939. Condition very good, wire to stretch across the room so plane can fly with props revolving is gone, but replacement wire is provided. Box is very good, original lid has had some edge restoration. Short issue period & an original high price contribute to fact that there are hardly any flying boats in existence today. Fine boxed example, incredibly rare. This particular set was issued with 2 extra of each pose for lying, kneeling, standing firing, at attention, & the rare marching without bayonets, thus deleting the 10 marching with fixed bayonets.
