Circa 1930. Extremely rare set depicting Richard Byrd’s race to the South Pole. The set was featured in an article by Harry Kemp in the Old Toy Soldier Journal for Collectors Winter 2023 Issue. Exquisite 56 piece set containing expedition support ship, City of New York. Including the very rare Tri-motor Fokker plane and the famous Little America tin plate shack. Size 2 figures.
