Gamages, Britains Uncatalogued Types
of the British Army, Cameronians and Scots Greys in original un-numbered box; Very good, box very good. 12 Pieces. This lot was acquired via a well known English auction house, where they were described as Britains "Specials", in many cases supplied through Gamages. There is no compelling evidence that Gamages ever produced such special orders. There is no doubt that they are one off special commissions, but the identity of the maker/ painter remains unconfirmed.
